Summary:
You will be collected from the Convention Centre at 08:30 am by a professional tour guide and driven along the Atlantic seaboard past the seaside suburbs of Sea Point, Camps Bay and Llandudno. You will drive through Hout Bay, where the original Dutch settlers used to collect wood and along scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive – one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world. It is often referred to as the Cape’s Big Sur. After a short artisanal coffee stop at Noordhoek Farm Village, you will drive past Cape Point Nature Reserve en route to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town. Lunch will be at the well know seafood restaurant, Harbour House overlooking picturesque Kalk Bay Harbour – a quaint artist’s colony and historic fishing village. You will return to the Convention Centre by 4 pm.

Summary:
You will be collected at 08:30 am from your hotel by a professional tour guide. The first stop will be The Castle of Good Hope – the oldest remaining colonial building in South Africa built by the Dutch East India Company who settled the Cape in 1652. You will then be driven past the District 6 Museum and stop for a takeaway at Truth Coffee – voted the world’s best coffee shop by The Daily Telegraph. You will pass the Company’s Garden – established by the Dutch to provision ships going to the East. You will see South Africa’s parliamentary precinct and St George’s Cathedral. You will visit Monkeybiz community project and have a brief stroll near the brightly coloured houses of the Cape Malay Quarter in the Bo-Kaap before being driven up Signal Hill for a photo opportunity. You will head to Camps Bay for lunch overlooking the ocean. After lunch you will visit the modern Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art for Africa (MOCAA) in the Waterfront and the William Kentridge Exhibition before returning to the Convention Centre by 4 pm.

Summary:
You will be collected at 09:00 by a professional tour guide and driven to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain for a guided walkabout. This spectacular garden, established in 1913, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and won the Garden of the Year award at the 2015 International Garden Tourism Awards.
You will then visit the Constantia Valley, home to the oldest vineyards in Southern Africa, and where the iconic sweet dessert wine Vin de Constance hails from. Groot Constantia was the residence of the first Dutch Governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel. You will enjoy a visit to the manor house, cellar tour and wine-tasting, before sitting down to a Cape Malay – inspired lunch on this historic wine farm, after which we will return to the Convention Centre by 2.45pm.
