The retirement fund industry is moving fast, and the Pension Lawyers Association (PLA) invites you to move with it. As the PLA proudly marks its 31^st anniversary, our 2027 conference takes up the theme “Law changes, risk evolves, technology transforms, the industry moves”, a timely opportunity to reflect, debate and prepare for what lies ahead. Join us for a conference that promises to be:

• Thought-provoking and challenging, exploring how changes in the law are reshaping our industry
• Packed with expert legal insight and practical analysis from leading professionals
• Focused on the pressing issues facing the retirement fund industry, from evolving risk to the technology transforming how we work

We invite you to take advantage of our early bird registration for the conference, which closes on 8 January 2027. The full conference fees will apply to registrations after that date.

All pension lawyers, attorneys & advocates, retirement fund board members, fund officers & consultants, actuaries & administrators and all professionals with an interest in retirement law and governance.

Entertainment

• Wednesday, 14 April 2027 – Cocktail Party
• Thursday, 15 April 2027 – Gala Dinner

You can register for the entertainment at the same time as registering for the conference for yourself and, if you wish, a partner. The additional fee for your partner to attend the Cocktail Party will be R880.00 and the Gala Dinner will be R1100.00.

Accommodation

Southern Sun are offering preferential rates at three of their properties to PLA delegates. Please keep a look out on the PLA website further information and the link to access the preferential rates. Accommodation must be booked directly by delegates.

Registration

Register on or before 8 January 2027 for early bird registration and benefit from a substantial conference fee reduction.

Please note that the PLA banking details will be included on your invoice upon Registration.
