The Pension Lawyers Association is delighted to invite you to register to attend its 24th annual conference to be held from Sunday 3rd March to Tuesday 5th March 2019 at the Hilton Hotel, Sandton.
It has been a year of significant change for retirement funds – the Financial Sector Regulation Act, embedding the Twin Peaks model, became effective and thus we have seen many guidance notes, strategy documents and draft conduct standards. In addition, we have seen many new laws, Regulations, changes to laws as well as important court and Adjudicator decisions. These changes give rise to just as many new legal questions as answered questions.
We have assembled many of the pre–eminent practitioners in the field of pensions and employee benefits law, who, through their high quality analysis, practical guidance and thought leadership, will guide you through the most topical legal issues in the retirement funds and employee benefits space.
We invite you to take advantage of early bird registration for the conference, which runs until Friday 14th December 2018. The full conference fees will apply to registrations after that date.

As always, much thought has gone into producing a conference which is thought-provoking and challenging and which offers high quality analysis, but always with a view to its practical application. The conference program will be published on the website. Please note that whilst most of the sessions and speakers are confirmed, we cannot guarantee that the programme will not be subject to change.
